In just a few short weeks, I’ll be packing my bags for OMED 2011 in Orlando. From reconnecting with KCOM classmates to presenting the awards for the AOA’s Distinguished Service Certificates at the opening session, there is a lot to which I’m looking forward. Without a doubt, it’s going to be a busy, and fun, week.
Within the OMED section of Osteopathic.org, a few of your osteopathic colleagues have shared their own plans for OMED this year. One of these is Warren Chin, DO, who will be bringing his wife and three young daughters to the conference with him. Aside from attending didactic sessions, he plans on taking advantage of the theme park discounts to enjoy time with his family in Walt Disney World. Another is Dana Aschman, OMS II, who is excited to learn about her residency options at the Osteopathic Residency Fair.
After reading more about Dr. Chin’s and Student Doctor Ashman’s plans in the My OMED section of the website, you’ll see there really is something for everyone at OMED this year.
I hope you plan on joining me and your fellow osteopathic family members later this month. If you haven’t registered yet, there is still time. Visit www.osteopathic.org/OMED.
See you in Orlando!
