Tucson Medical Student Elected to American Osteopathic Association Board of Trustees

(CHICAGO) Mansoor A. Jatoi, an osteopathic medical student from Tucson, Ariz., was recently elected to the American Osteopathic Association’s (AOA) Board of Trustees as the student representative.

“It is a great honor to serve as the student representative to the AOA Board of Trustees and to represent osteopathic medical students from all across the country,” Jatoi says. “I look forward to putting my passion for osteopathic medicine into this position.”

Apart from his new position as an AOA Trustee, Jatoi will also serve as the chair of the AOA’s Student Affairs Committee. In addition, Jatoi is active with the Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents where he currently serves as chair of the public relations and web committee.

Education

Jatoi received his bachelor’s of science degree in business administration from the University of Arizona in 2004 where he graduated with Cum Laude honors. He is now pursuing his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the Midwestern University/Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale.
