The American Osteopathic Association (AOA) will be joined by health care industry titans Cleveland Clinic and Geisinger in Seattle during its annual Osteopathic Medical Conference & Exposition, OMED 2014, to discuss important topics like empathy in communications with patients and social media’s role in patient care.
The conference will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, through Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center, 800 Convention Place, Seattle. Osteopathic physicians (DOs), osteopathic medical students and other members of the osteopathic medical profession from across the nation will convene in Seattle for this year’s conference. This meeting marks the first time that the AOA has added Seattle to its rotation of major U.S. cities that host the annual conference.
