A fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians (ACOP) and the American Academy of Pediatrics, James E. Foy, DO, is an AOA board-certified pediatrician. He practices at Touro University Medical Center in Vallejo, Calif. He also is a professor and chairman of the pediatrics division at the Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine—California in Vallejo.
Dr. Foy has spoken at medical conferences about various pediatric topics, including pediatric immunizations and vaccinations. He is a former member of the National Vaccine Advisory Committee, and is involved in vaccine research and community vaccine programs. Currently Dr. Foy serves as president of the ACOP.
Dr. Foy earned his osteopathic medical degree from the Des Moines (Iowa) University—College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and a pediatric rotation at Columbus Children’s Hospital.
