A fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Michael S. Kluska, DO, is the president and medical director of the Center for Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery in Greensburg, Pa.
An AOA board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and general surgeon, Dr. Kluska regularly serves as an expert source on plastic surgery and cosmetic health issues for both broadcast and print media outlets. In Pittsburgh, he has appeared on the CBS affiliate TV station to discuss health concerns surrounding “botox parties” and is currently a plastic surgery consultant for WZPT-FM. He has also served as an expert source or as an advisory board member for several medical industry publications, including Cosmetic Surgery Times and Plastic Surgery Products.
After earning his osteopathic medical degree from the Des Moines (Iowa) University—College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Kluska completed an internship at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, followed by a general surgery residency at Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio, and at South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. He then went on to complete a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at South Pointe Hospital.
