Pamela A. Georgeson, DO, is board-certified in both pediatrics and in allergy and immunology. She is practicing allergy at Kenwood Allergy and Asthma Center in Chesterfield Township, Mich. She also is an assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing and is an adjunct assistant professor of internal medicine at the Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (MWU/CCOM) in Downers Grove, Ill.
Dr. Georgeson has been interviewed for several television, radio, print and website stories. She has discussed pet allergies and seasonal allergies in various WebMD features. Dr. Georgeson also addressed spring allergies in an article on MSN Health & Fitness and discussed asthma triggers in the home in Better Health & Living magazine. Recently she served as an expert available to discuss health concerns during ozone action days.
A fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Georgeson is a multiple recipient of the Top Doc award by Hour Detroit magazine. She also is a member of the editorial board for the journal Pediatric Asthma, Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Georgeson received her osteopathic medical degree from MWU/CCOM. She completed an internship at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Mich.; a pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit; and a fellowship in allergy and immunology at Henry Ford Hospital, also in Detroit.
