Robert J. Corona, DO, serves as chief medical officer at Welch Allyn, Inc. He also is a professor of pathology and laboratory medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine and family medicine at the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. In addition, he holds faculty appointments at Albany (N.Y.) Medical College and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine-Bradenton (Fla.).

A past president of the Alzheimer's Association of Central New York, Dr. Corona contributed a chapter about Alzheimer's disease in the book Alzheimer's Disease: Basic Mechanisms, Diagnosis and Therapeutic Strategies. He also has lectured at medical conferences about dementia and medical technology. His blog, Dr. Bob's Biz Blog, covers a range of health-related topics from significant advancements in patient care to industry trends and healthcare reform.

After receiving his osteopathic medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, Dr. Corona completed a rotating internship at Southeastern Medical Center in Miami. He went to serve as chief resident at the State University of New York Health Center.
