The 24th Annual Osteopathic Medical Education Leadership Conference (OME XXIV) was held Jan. 9-11 at the Hilton Austin Hotel in Austin, Texas. The conference is designed to be a forum for educators and leaders in osteopathic medical education to come together to exchange information and ideas. View the conference agenda.
The conference is typically attended by osteopathic educators who are: deans of colleges, OPTI officers, hospital and college administrators, directors and administrative directors of medical education, residency program directors and specialty college representatives. During OME XXIV, AACOM sponsored an Emerging Leaders Brunch, where selected osteopathic medical students and residents heard from current leaders in the field regarding emerging issues and future opportunities for leadership. The conference is also part of the cluster concept and is held in conjunction with the CME Sponsors Conference.
